Know. Show. Grow.

The whole of Branding Inward in three words. Know yourself before you write a bio, show up as yourself instead of performing, and let consistency do the growing.

The whole of Branding Inward, in three words.

Know

Know comes first because you can't be clear about what you haven't seen. Before you write a bio or pick a color, you find the pattern in how you get stuck and the un-copyable thing in your own story. This is the part most branding advice skips, and it's why so much of it produces brands that sound like everyone else.

On this site, Know is the Inward Scan and the six questions.

Show

Show is where most people are told to start, which is exactly why it fails them. Showing is not performing. It's your own voice written down, shared at a cost you can honestly bear, refined without being sanded away. If Know went well, Show stops feeling like a costume.

Here, Show is the voice tool, the Quieter Plan, and the Gentle Roast.

Grow

Grow is what compounds when the first two are true. Not going viral. Being remembered, being findable, being described correctly when someone asks an AI or a friend. Growth for a quiet brand is consistency doing its slow work.

Here, Grow is your Inward Brief and the AI Visibility Audit.

Start wherever you're stuck. The framework doesn't mind.

FAQ

What is the Know. Show. Grow. framework?

It's the Branding Inward method in three phases. Know: find your pattern and the un-copyable thing in your story before you make anything. Show: put your real voice out at a cost you can bear, without performing. Grow: let consistency compound into being remembered and findable. Each phase has free tools on this site.

Do I have to do the phases in order?

No. Start wherever you're stuck. The order matters most if you're starting from zero, because knowing what you're about makes showing up feel less like a costume. But every tool works on its own.

How is this different from a typical branding framework?

Most frameworks start at Show: the logo, the content calendar, the posting schedule. This one starts inward, on the theory that self-promotion feels draining when you're performing someone else's brand, and feels bearable when you're describing your own.

Want to try it on your own brand? The Inward Scan finds where you get stuck, then points you to the right tool. Free, no account, one minute.
